conductors, professional performers, artists and other experts to be
on the Steering Committee to help establish the Challenge.

What is the Unearthed Schools Performing Arts Challenge?
The Unearthed PA Challenge is a festival that offers a chance to discover
the Performing Arts with other school students from schools across Britain.
We are looking to unearth Britain's hidden talent and to give students
the challenge of discovering themselves and a love of the arts.It aims
to build confidence and skills through performing and provides helpful
notes from expert adjudicators. Whether you can sing, dance, act, recite,
do circus skills, play an instrument or write your own compositions,
it will be a unique opportunity to meet others in the same field and
compare performances.
Schools will also be able to participate in a combined closing night

If you want to see youth with a purpose developing stage skills such as dancing, singing and acting; backstage skills like lighting, make-up, construction, music; or life skills including leadership, resilience, and focus, then why not take the first challenge and be a part of the Founding Team!
School Anti-Violence and Bullying
The Unearthed PA Challenge is also concerned with school bullying and
is looking at ways to use the arts to help reduce and even eliminate
this problem from schools. The performing arts can be used as a way
of channeling anger and aggression constructively as well as building
self esteem and confidence and working together with other people.
